Weekly Wows

ONE // Cath Kidston
I found this great company at the airport in London last month. It's a vintage inspired line, teeming with adorable floral prints! It reminds me of Rifle Paper Co. a bit, but with a vintage twist. In the picture above, I included some of my favorite pieces. They have everything from clothing, to dishware, to lamps. Right now, they're having a fantastic 50% off sale!

Holy moly is this coffee good. Have you heard about it? Starbucks just came out with the Cold Brew this week! What they do is brew the coffee for 20 hours, and then put it over ice. IT'S TO DIE FOR. It may even be better than my signature iced coffee drink. If you love a strong cup o' jo, you'll love the Cold Brew.

THREE // Alaska Trip 2015
One of my favorite bloggers, Carly, just went on a trip to Alaska. I've never really wanted to go to Alaska until I watched this video montage of her trip. Alaska is definitely on my must visit list now!

FOUR // Kacey Musgraves New Album
I've been a fan of Kacey's ever since I heard her single "Follow Your Arrow" in 2013. All of the music she creates is so real, and contains advice that everyone should follow. I'm so excited for her new album, the sky's the limit for this talented lady!

FIVE // Shark Week
Yes, it's that time of year again! Although sharks terrify me, I find them so interesting. Usually, the Discovery Channel does a phenomenal job with Shark Week, but this year seems to be different. The episodes so far,  seem to be focused on the equipment they're using to film the sharks, rather than the sharks themselves. No one gives two hoots about the balloon camera, people just want to see the gigantic sharks swimming around. Hopefully they'll  turn things around with these last few days of Shark Week.

Weekly Wows

Brilliance Brilliance Post Earrings

1// Brighton Brilliance Post Earrings:
A couple weekends ago my step mom took a short trip to Georgia, and she came back bearing gifts!
She got me these beautiful and classic studs, that I can wear with practically anything. I absolutely adore love them! The hearts on the sides are the sweetest touch. I usually wear CZ studs 24/7, but I'm going to have to remember to take these off everyday before bed so they will last for years to come!

2// Chandelier by Sia:
How creepy and amazing is the dancer in this video?! She's 11, how crazy is that! Anyway, this song is my jam. I've been listening to it on repeat for the past few days; I just can't get enough of it. I've also been trying really hard to sing the song just like Sia, but according to my little brother (who screams at me to stop every time) I guess I'm not doing such a great job.
Also, every time I listen to it, I can't help but think how much Sia sounds like Rihanna (like seriously they could be twin singing sisters or something). But hey, Rihanna's a pretty cool twin singing sister to have if you ask me!

3// Associated Press (AP) App:
Maybe it's just me, but I like knowing what's going on in the world. When I took US History this past school year, it amazed me (in a bad way) how much I didn't know about my country. But I made up for lost time, and did well in the class. What also influenced me to keep up with the news was my teacher, she is so passionate about history and a huge believer in watching the news and reading the newspaper everyday. Not only have I taken to reading the newspaper most mornings, but I also have downloaded a few apps to keep me up to date of what's going on in the world. I have New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and AP News downloaded on my phone. AP is my favorite, because of the way the app is organized. I also love that it alerts me of breaking news so I never miss anything! The app is available on iPhone and Android devices!

Sam and Libby

4// Sam and Libby for Target:
I'm finding more and more that practically the only sandals I wear are my Jack Rogers, and I love them, but I'm bored with them! I want more variety in my sandal choices, so I'm on the hunt for some new ones. These Sam and Libby sandals are at the top of my list! I've been dying for a brown pair of sandals and these ones look perfect and I don't have anything like them in my closet already! Don't even get me started about the silver and white pair, I love love love them.

5// Google Drive:
Now that I have a Google Chrome laptop (which I plan on doing a review on soon!) I've started using the Google Drive because that's what all the things on my laptop get saved too automatically. Well this week I found out there's a Google Drive app, which has been so fantastic for getting the photos from my laptop to my phone without me having to email them to myself a bazillion times. Basically it's like Dropbox (I think?!) but I've never used that either so I can't say for sure. All you do is drag files and pictures onto the Google drive website or app and then those items show up when you log into your Google drive account from anywhere or any device! How awesome is that?

Weekly Wows

There are always a zillion things circulating around the internet everyday. It can be crazy to keep up with it all but I love finding new articles, videos, photos, products, and songs throughout the week. This segment is where I share new things that wow me every week!

howard schultz, starbucks

1. Starbucks to pay for college degrees: As if Starbucks isn't already cool enough, now they'll partially pay for you to get a college degree while working as one of their employees! I think it's amazing their not only promoting their employees to further their education but also chipping in financially to help them achieve it. Starbucks never ceases to amaze me.

2. 2014-2015 Lilly Pulitzer Planners: This may not be news to some people considering these planners were announced a couple weeks ago but if you haven't heard about them yet, then now you know! I ordered this one, the second I got the email from Lilly that they were now available for pre order! I seriously can't wait to get it. I got a Lilly planner last year too, and used it everyday for school. I'm not a huge Lilly fan but I do lovvee their planners. If you've already pre ordered one they are suppose to ship this Monday the 23rd (eeek!) I am impatiently waiting for mine to come. I've already called Lilly twice asking when they are suppose to ship and how long it will take to get to me. #sorrynotsorry

3. Art history video: If you or someone you know is interested at all in art history, they have to watch this video. When I took AP Art History last year, my teacher showed us this on the first day of school. It made no sense to me then because I didn't know anything about art at the time. But on the last day of school, It truly made me tear up when she showed it to us again because I recognized almost every work in the video and could answer most of the questions too. It's incredible and so well done, with some amazing questions. If you are an art lover like me it will make you get the goosebumps, guaranteed.

4. Celine Purses: I love the style of Celine purses, but not so much their price. I found look a like ones on Amazon for only $35!! They also offer a larger style as well! #score
5. Orange is the New Black series: Since this show started it's gotten nothing but rave reviews. I've seen it been written about in magazines, newspapers, blogs, and everywhere in between. After finishing The Office on Netflix (and crying profusely through the last episode), I needed to find a new series to watch on Netflix. So after hearing about Orange is the new for the 10 thousandth time, I decided to give it a shot. I won't lie, 5 min. into the first episode I was blown away (not in a good way) and I didn't get what all the hype was about. It wasn't at all what I expected, but now I'm on the 10th episode, and I'm hooked.
